Mag season has begun. *Geno’s gap of DOOM*
If you happen to pick up the 1st issue of the 10/11 season Snowboarder magazine, peep the shot I took of Sean Genovese. We got this shot in March up in Anchorage, AK. Sean, Dre, Burtner and I spent about 7 hours building the jump and landing for this beast of an ollie. The take off was a 3-4 ft high platform that stretched about 20ft back to the hill behind the stadium. Note the riders right side of the jump was about a 7ft wall due to the topography of the hill. Needless to say Geno sacked up and hucked his carcass off this thing a handful of times to get the speed and landing just right. My stomach was turning every time before he was set to drop in to this thing. Definitely a do or kiss yo mama goodbye situation.
